Apple Malaysia has recently updated its official website, which now lists the expected arrival dates for its refreshed Mac mini, iMac and MacBook Pro series in Malaysia. All of which were unveiled last month, featuring different variants of the brand’s latest M4 silicon.
According to Apple’s website, M4-powered iMac and MacBook Pro models would be the first to arrive, shipping out to customers from 4 December 2024 onwards. The Mac mini, on the other hand, would arrive much later on 10 December onwards. As with most of their respective predecessors, customers have the ability to choose between different setups for each product, including different accessories, as well as pay through monthly installments.
To quickly recap, the new iMac starts from RM5,799 when equipped with just the 8-Core M4 chip, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and no add-ons. It maxes out at a whopping RM12,919 when equipped with the 10-core M4, nano-texture glass, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, along with a Magic Trackpad and Keyboard (Touch ID + Numeric Keypad) included.
The 2024 MacBook Pro is available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, with the option to equip them with different variants of the M4 silicon. However, note that the former lets you choose between the basic, Pro and Max versions of the chip, whereas the latter only offers the Pro and Max. The 14-inch MacBook Pro starts from RM6,999 and maxes out at RM30,364 at the highest specifications plus accessories. Meanwhile, the 16-inch model starts from RM10,999 and tops off at an eye-watering RM31,739.
Last but not least, we have the new Mac mini, which is available with either the vanilla or Pro variants of Apple’s M4 chip. The compact computer starts from RM2,499 on default specifications, while its highest configuration (M4 Pro, 64GB RAM, 8TB SSD, and 10Gb Ethernet) will cost a total of RM20,024.
