Videocardz says that it has exclusively obtained the launch date for Intel’s Arc Battlemage lineup. According to the leakster site, the cards are set to launch on 12 December.
The site goes on to say that the 12 December launch window is also when reviews for the cards will go live. In addition, Intel is expected to launch two GPU models on the day: the B580 and the B570. It should also be noted that that date is for the chipmaker’s “Limited Edition” Battlemage cards, and AIB partner cards will launch the day after, 13 December.
Intel is also expected to properly announce the existence of Battlemage on 3 December next week. No details about either the B580 or B570 have been released, but leaked specifications suggest that the former will ship out with 20 Xe2 cores, and the latter with 18 Xe2 Cores.
This bit of news has been consistent with Intel’s plan to launch Battlemage before the end of this year; just yesterday, a video on its official YouTube channel featuring Tom Petersen, Intel Fellow, hinted strongly that the GPU was coming but didn’t say when exactly that was.
