Huawei has announced that the MatePad 12 X is now available for purchase in Malaysia via its official website, as well as its online stores on Shopee and Lazada. Officially unveiled last week, the tablet is priced at RM2,999, and those who purchase starting today are entitled to receive limited-time free gifts worth up to RM2,624 while stocks last. These include Huawei FreeBuds, 3rd Gen M-Pencil, Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Mouse and Backpack, along with one-year screen protection.
To recap, the new Huawei MatePad 12 X sports a 12-inch PaperMatte LCD display with 2800×1840 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Under its hood is a Kirin T90A chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, powering the tablet is a 10,100mAh battery which supports 66W charging via USB-C.
Connectivity-wise, it supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 while on the software side, it ships with HarmonyOS 4.2 and comes with WPS Office suite. There’s no fingerprint scanner, but it does feature a total of six speakers along with a graphite cooling system.
For imaging, the MatePad 12 X is equipped with a dual-setup on its back, consisting of a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Meanwhile, in front is an 8MP selfie shooter on its bezel.
