Premium audio brand Bang & Olufsen has announced a new pair of TWS bids called the Beoplay Eleven. While not exactly a name that’s indicative of what it is, it does feature something that most other TWS buds don’t, which are replaceable batteries.
As per its press release, “the design of the earbuds allows for battery replacement by service to align with the European’s sustainability goals”. Though it’s unclear if this also applies to the charging case. While we’re here, battery life is rated at eight hours plus 20 with the case, or six and 14 with ANC turned on.
On that note, Bang & Olufsen says that the Beoplay Eleven sports improved ANC tech, with six microphones that “work faster and more efficiently”. This also allows for a better transparency mode, as well as benefiting calls at the same time. The rest of its design, the company says, is inspired by its own Beoplay H100, with the added bonus of an IP57 rating.
While it may be inspired by a pair of headphones that cost RM8,600, the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Eleven doesn’t cost as much. That’s not to say that it’s a pair of budget-friendly TWS buds, as it has launched with a price tag of EUR 499 (~RM2,341). No word on local pricing or availability as of yet.
