The Nubia Z70 Ultra, the new flagship smartphone from the ZTE sub-brand, has officially landed in Malaysia. It was introduced in China last week, offering bleeding-edge specs and its new AI-focused operating system, Nebula AIOS based on Android 15.
To start with, the Z70 Ultra is equipped with a 6.85-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and 7th Generation under-display camera technology, which means there’s no cutout for the selfie camera. Internally, it runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Imaging-wise, the flagship phone sports a 50MP main camera with OIS and an adjustable physical aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope lens with OIS and 2.7x optical zoom. Powering it is a nominally larger 6,150mAh battery with support for 80W charging. Additionally, it comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner and for protection, it’s fitted with Longxi glass along with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Z70 Ultra is available for pre-order now through the brand’s website as well as its Shopee and Lazada stores. It gets a retail price of RM3,899 for the 12GB+256GB variant and RM4,499 for the 16GB+512GB variant, but for today only, the flagship is being offered at RM3,199 and RM3,699 respectively.
