OPPO has unveiled the Pad 3, its newest tablet that is the more affordable alternative to the Pro model that was introduced earlier this year. The vanilla variant is offered with a mid-range chipset and a smaller screen, but with a nominally larger battery and the same charging speed.
The Pad 3 sports an 11.61-inch 2800×2000 LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a lower peak brightness of 700 nits compared to its Pro counterpart. Internally, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8350, which is the same custom processor that is found in the new Reno13 smartphone lineup. The tablet also ships with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
On the optics side, the mid-ranger features an 8MP sensor on both the front and back of the tablet, while for audio, it is fitted with a total of six speakers. Powering the device is a 9,510mAh battery with support for 67W charging. As for connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and 5G.
The Pad 3 comes in three colour options and retails at a starting price of CNY2,099 (~RM1,290) for the base trim. It is rumoured to launch in global markets as the OnePlus Pad 2 Go, but in Malaysia at least, it will likely be released under the OPPO branding as the tablet has already been listed on the SIRIM database.
