A new Nothing smartphone has appeared on Geekbench, GSMArena reports. Bearing only the model name A059, it is believed to be the brand’s next flagship model, or perhaps a variant of it.
According to the listing on Geekbench, the device is revealed to be equipped with an unspecified chipset which features a prime core clocked at 2.5 GHz, 3 x performance cores working @ 2.4 GHz, and 4x efficiency cores humming @ 1.8 GHz. GSMArena believes that the chip in question is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, Qualcomm’s recently announced mid-range chipset update. Additionally, the alleged Nothing Phone (3) comes with 8GB RAM.
Undoubtedly, many would find this setup to be underwhelming, especially given the fact that its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2), packed a flagship-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, according to GSMArena, rumours are suggesting that this particular model may only be the base variant, and that a higher specced Pro model will launch alongside it.
Of course, all of this is unconfirmed and the brand has revealed, well, nothing about its upcoming releases. That said, we’ll only find out more once Nothing is ready to make an announcement, or if more leaks begin to pop up.
