Warframe developer Digital Extremes has opened pre-registration for the Android version of its popular looter-shooter video game, accessible via Google Play Store. Those who opt in will be notified of the app’s much anticipated launch on the mobile platform, though there’s no word on its availability just yet.
Digital Extremes also promises an exclusive login reward to users who pre-register for the Android version of Warframe. Dubbed “The Cumulus Collection“, it contains a variety of free cosmetic items, including the Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana, Stratus Pistol Skin and Spektaka Color Palette, as well as a 3-Day Resource Booster.
In case you missed it, Warframe is already available globally for iOS devices since February 2024, bringing the game’s entire experience to mobile. Digital Extremes also held a series of testing phases for the Android version, including a closed beta that ran in November of last year.
It is also worth noting that Warframe now supports Cross-Platform Save and Cross-Platform Play. Both features allow both existing and new players to continue playing from where they left off on any platform, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X or S.
In an interview with MMORPG.com, Digital Extreme’s Rebecca Ford said that an Android release for Warframe in 2024 is not likely. However, she noted that a public test could potentially happen before the year ends.
