Bank Islam today has introduced BIMB, its refreshed and rebranded mobile banking application and website. The former is available on iPhone, Android and Huawei devices, while the latter is accessible through the new URL: BIMB.com. Both of these are available starting today.
The bank says BIMB Mobile is an upgrade to the existing Bank Islam GO app, featuring a reworked interface that’s much easier to navigate, addressing a long-standing complaint by users. Needless to say, this layout is reflected in the new website as well.
Via the app, users can manage their accounts, savings, cards and loans directly, as well as make zakat payments and more. Bank Islam has also integrated DuitNow to BIMB Mobile, allowing users to utilise the feature for conducting and receiving payments. Most importantly, the new app as well as its website is promised to be more secure, incorporating modern security features such as biometric verifications, Kill Switch, and more.
The BIMB application requires a device with iOS 13 and up, Android 10 and up, or the latest version of Harmony OS. It should be noted that the Bank Islam GO app and the bank’s existing website are still accessible to users until sometime next year.
