ZTE has unveiled a new affordable smartphone from its Blade lineup called the Blade V70. The phone was posted on the company’s global website, revealing its design that comes in green, grey, and gold colour options as well as its modest specs.
The Blade V70 sports a 6.7-inch 1600×720 LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an unspecified brightness rating. Under the hood, it runs on an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, but the brand has yet to disclose the actual chipset. This is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the optics front, the entry-level device features a 108MP main camera and two unspecified secondary sensors, along with a 16MP selfie snapper. Powering it is a 5,000Mah battery with support for 22.5W charging. For connectivity, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Blade V70 ships with MyOS 14 based on Android 14 and is packaged with Live Island 2.0, which is its version of Apple’s Dynamic Island feature. As of writing, information on the price and availability of the phone has not been released yet.
