Last month, Edifier introduced a new pair of wireless earbuds called the NeoDots. Now, the earbuds have arrived in Malaysia, offering active noise cancellation as well as what it calls “Hybrid Driver Units”.
Each bud sports a dynamic driver and a balanced armature driver combined with digital signal processing, resulting in what the company claims is balanced sound with high resolution and low distortion. The NeoDots also support the LDAC codec and with the equipped Bluetooth 5.4, it offers support for Google Fast Pair, multipoint connectivity, and an 80ms low-latency mode.
The earbuds come with ANC that can reduce noise by up to 48dB while the level of ANC and transparency can be adjusted through the brand’s app. Additionally, it comes with wear detection and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
As for battery life, it can last a total of 39 hours with the charging case, which supports wireless charging. The earbuds can provide up to a whopping 17 hours of listening time with ANC disabled on a single charge, while turning on ANC cuts it down to 12 hours.
The NeoDots is offered in black and white colour options and retails at RM679. However, it is currently on sale for RM499 on the brand’s website and RM449 on its Shopee store.
