Astro has announced that Max, the streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), is now available through five of its On Demand packages. These include the Movies, Movies, Plus, Premium 1, Premium 3, and Platinum packs.
According to its website, Astro is only offering the Standard option for Max. This means that content is offered in Full HD resolution, while customers are allowed to stream on two devices and have a total of 30 downloads for offline viewing. Seeing that Max is now included as part of the aforementioned packages, Astro assures that there won’t be any extra charge for its addition to the list of services.
Moreover, the service provider adds that customers on the five On Demand packs are also allowed to enjoy Max content through the Astro GO app that’s included as part of their subscription. For the uninitiated, the Movies pack is priced at RM66.49 per month, Movies Plus at RM129.99/month, Premium 1 at RM109.99/month, Premium 3 at RM154.99/month, and Platinum at RM194.99/month.
Meanwhile, Astro also offers a higher tier for its mobile streaming app, known as Astro GO+, which allows customers to watch on four screens at a time and 1500 hours of cloud recording for RM5.99/month. In comparison, the default version only allows for two screens at a time and only 200 hours of cloud recording.
