Following the launch of the Reno12 on our shores back in July, OPPO is prepping for the successors to get their turn. And it looks like the brand has pinned the launch of the OPPO Reno13 for next week, at least in its home market of China.
The announcement of the launch was posted on the brand’s official account on Chinese social media Weibo. Specifically, the line – machine translation says it will be a series of phones as it was before – will be launching on 7PM of 25 November 2024. As you might expect, the official account does not share much in terms of what the phones as to offer.
Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station has previously leaked part of what is claimed to be the spec sheet of the OPPO Reno13 Pro. This includes a 6.78-inchquad-curved 2,780 x 1,264 OLED screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, a 5,900 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a 50MP camera with 3x optical zoom capabilities. The measurement for the screen has since been disputed, with another claim being that it measures 6.83 inches instead.
At any rate, we’ll find out for sure what the OPPO Reno13 series is like when it finally launches next week. Though strictly speaking, this would be for the version that launches in its home market, as it’s probably worth remembering that the Reno12 series had a different set of specs when it went international.
