WhatsApp has dropped a new feature across all versions of its popular messaging platform: Message Draft. Essentially, this enables the app to save your incomplete messages in different chats, allowing you to return back to it another time for completing or editing before finally sending it over.
How it works is exactly how you’d expect it to be. If you’ve written something in a chat and left it there unsent, WhatsApp will then save it as a draft. Incomplete messages will be labeled as such and are also bumped to the top of your chat list in the app, allowing you to immediately find them for later.
While minor, it’s actually quite a significant addition, and one that’s been asked for by users for quite some time now. This is especially when given the fact that other platforms outside of WhatsApp have already provided users the ability to draft messages way before this.
WhatsApp’s new Message Draft feature is available now to all users across the globe. As always, be sure to update the app to the latest version if you wish to enjoy this new quality-of-life addition.
