The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) is set to return for its 10th edition at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 5 to 11 December 2024. Organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), the event’s theme this time around is “Beyond Mobility”, which aims to highlight the latest advancements in automotive technology and sustainability.
According to the organiser, KLIMS 2024 will feature nearly 70 exhibitors across 30,000 square metres, showcasing a variety of vehicles, from electric cars to concept models. Brands such as Proton, Perodua, Toyota, and Nissan will present exclusive debuts during the event, while a range of supporting activities including social media photography and race simulator contests as well as a lucky draw are to be expected as well.
The show’s focus on sustainability is backed by government initiatives and partnerships with organisations such as MARii and MATRADE. MAA says these collaborations aim to boost Malaysia’s automotive sector, furthering the development of green technology and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. This year’s edition will also feature contributions from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and PDRM, promoting road safety and offering on-site services like licence renewals.
Other attractions include a Ferrari die-cast car display and an exotic car showcase. Moreover, automotive clubs from across Malaysia will converge at KLIMS 2024 to provide a platform for enthusiasts to network, while CARSOME and Petrosains will be present to offer trade-in services and educational programs respectively.
