Nubia has finally fully unveiled the Redmagic 10 Pro series, made up of the standard Pro and the Pro Plus. The two flagship gaming smartphones are essentially the same device, with the only differences being in the battery capacity and charging speed.
The Redmagic 10 Pro lineup share a 6.85-inch 2688×1216 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Under the hood, they both run on an “Extreme Edition” of Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with the brand’s in-house Red Core R3 gaming chip that can push a game up to 120fps at 2K, along with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
Because they’re gaming phones, of course they come with a thermal system made up of a vapour chamber, copper foil, graphene, as well as liquid metal. The smartphones are also actively cooled by a small 23,000rpm RGB fan on the back along vents on each side. Additionally, the flagships get shoulder trigger buttons and a physical mode slider switch.
Optics-wise, the lineup features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a hidden under-display 16MP selfie shooter. Powering the Pro is a 6,500mAh battery with support for 80W charging but the Pro Plus amps it up to a 7,050mAh cell that supports 120W charging.
The Redmagic 10 Pro starts from CNY5,799 (~RM3,583) for the base trim while the Pro Plus gets a starting price of CNY5,999 (~RM3,707). As for other markets, the series will be launching globally on 3 December 2024.
