Acer has announced the arrival of the Swift Go 14 AI, its latest laptop powered by an ARM processor. The computer gets a mid-tier chipset from Qualcomm along with a slim profile and an improved battery life, although unlike its Intel-powered counterpart, it only comes in a single configuration.
The Swift Go 14 AI sports a 14.5-inch 1080p IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a tall 16:10 aspect ratio, alongside a 180-degree hinge. Underneath the chassis, the laptop runs on an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage. On the connectivity side, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and comes with two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and a headphone jack.
Powering the lightweight computer is a 65Wh battery that the brand claims can last up to 23 hours. Additionally, it comes with a fingerprint reader, a 1440p webcam with an IR blaster for Windows Hello facial recognition, as well as a camera shutter for privacy.
With the AI moniker, the new laptop is packed with several on-device AI features including PurifiedView, PurifiedVoice, and User Sensing. Moreover, it will get Microsoft’s Copilot+ update later this month, which will come with an AI assistant along with Live Caption translations.
The Swift Go 14 AI retails at RM3,999 and is available through its online store, Shopee store, Lazada store, and authorised resellers. From 12 to 15 November 2024, the laptop will also be bundled with a free 256GB SanDisk Phone Drive and RM150 worth of e-wallet credit.
