Pertama Digital Berhad has announced the integration of MyDigital ID across the three services it provides, which are KOCEK, eJamin and MyPay. Or more specifically, the company has announced the completion of the integration process. What this means is that users of either service, or all three for that matter, will be able to access their accounts with a single login.
As a result of the MyDigital ID integration, Pertama Digital also says that access to the three services will be more secure, in addition to the easier, unified login experience. The company also says that this integration is part of its support for Malaysia’s shift towards a digital first nation.
For context of what each service under Pertama Digital does – that has gotten the MyDigital ID integration – MyPay is the app that consolidates e-services from from government agencies, allowing users to make easy payments to them. The chief example here isthe National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN).
An extension of this is KOCEK, a digital coin conversion service, previously called MyPay Coin Conversion. This allows you to bring your stash of unused coins to select Pos Malaysia offices to have the value of said coins be deposited into your bank account. Finally, there’s eJamin, which the company claims to be the first smartphone court bail payment app in the world, and used by courts across Malaysia.
