vivo has officially announced that its new X200 series is coming to the Malaysian market. The flagship lineup was unveiled last month and now, the brand has confirmed that it will be bringing the series here sometime this month, but it did not provide a specific launch date just yet.
The lineup currently consists of three models, but so far, only two of them have appeared on the SIRIM database, namely the vanilla model as well as the Pro. It is unknown whether or not Malaysians will be able to purchase the Pro mini variant.
As for the specs, the Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, and an HDR peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Under the hood, the entire lineup runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset along with an under-display fingerprint scanner, but only the Pro gets an ultrasonic sensor while the base model gets a standard optical sensor.
Imaging-wise, the Zeiss co-branded setup of the Pro is made up of a 50MP 1/1.28″ main camera with OIS, which is a step down from last year’s 1-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an upgraded 200MP periscope lens with OIS and 3.7x optical zoom. On the other hand, the vanilla X200 gets a smaller 50MP 1/1.56″ primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Both phones carry a 32MP selfie snapper.
Powering the X200 and the X200 Pro are a 5,800mAh and 6,000mAh battery respectively. Both models support 90W wired charging, but only the Pro gets 30W wireless charging. For connectivity, they support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
