AMD is reportedly gearing up for CES 2025, where it is expected to announce a slew of new products. The company is not alone in this either, as its rivals NVIDIA and Intel are also expected to launch their GeForce RTX 50 Series and updates on the Core Ultra 200 mobile SKUs, respectively.
Getting back on AMD, one of the products the red chipmaker is expected to announce on the day is RDNA4, the replacement to its current RDNA3 which has been getting a little long in the tooth, since its launch back in 2022. Then there is the potential launch of its Ryzen Z2 series chipset, which is rumoured to comprise three SKUs.

It is also rumoured that CES 2025 is also when AMD will be revealing the Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 9950X3D, the two other 3D V-Cache processors that have surprisingly received far less mention, compared to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D that industry experts, as well as rumourmongers, believe is going to be the first Ryzen 9000X3D CPU to launch in early November.
Lastly, rumours also believe that AMD will be announcing Krackan Point, a new and low-power variant mobile CPU lineup, which could end up being a part of its current Ryzen AI 300 lineup. Once again, it is best to take this news with a very large grain of salt, simply because the chipmaker hasn’t confirmed anything officially.
