HONOR has finally revealed the launch date for the X9c 5G’s debut in Malaysia. Part of its ultra-tough X lineup, the upcoming successor to last year’s X9b features increased durability and will come with several guarantees to boot.
The X9c builds on its predecessor’s Ultra-tough Triple Defense design with drop resistance, increasing the maximum height it can withstand from a fall from 1.6 metres to 2 metres. Moreover, it gets an upgraded dust and water rating from IP53 to IP65M.
Since the upcoming mid-ranger is a rebadge of the X60 Pro in China, we can expect a battery with a behemoth-sized capacity of 6,600mAh, beating its predecessor’s 5,800mAh cell. Additionally, the phone has been revealed to be equipped with a speaker system that can crank up the volume to 300% and it will ship with the brand’s Magic AI features, including Magic Capsule.
The X9c will be coming to Malaysia on 5 November 2024. Ahead of this, those who are interested in the phone can pre-order it by putting down a non-refundable RM9 deposit through the company’s website. Early birds will receive a RM99 rebate along with 180-day one-to-one replacement, 365-day back crack replacement, and three-year battery assurance policies.
