vivo is set to release at least one of its latest flagship phones in Malaysia soon, namely the X200 Pro. The Zeiss co-branded smartphone has made an appearance on the SIRIM database, indicating that it will be arriving here soon. However, the regular X200, as well as the Pro mini, have not been listed yet.
The X200 Pro received SIRIM approval on 22 October 2024 with the model number V2413. The company has not made an announcement regarding the lineup’s local launch yet, so we will have to wait for more details to emerge. Aside from Zeiss optics, the entire series is also fitted with the smartphone brand’s in-house V3+ imaging chip, bringing the focus to its camera setup.
Spec-wise, the Pro model gets a 6.78-inch quad-curved 2800×1260 LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and an undisclosed global peak brightness. Along with the other two models, it is the first lineup to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Moreover, it comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance as well as an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, which exclusive to the Pro.
For photography, it is fitted with a 50MP main camera with OIS, which is smaller than its predecessor’s 1-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and the 200MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3.7x optical zoom from the X100 Ultra. The X200 Pro is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
