realme has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the GT 7 Pro, will be equipped with the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. And it is also looking to be the first device with the SoC to arrive in Malaysia soon, according to the brand’s latest post on Facebook.
As announced during the realme 13 series launch last week, the GT 7 Pro is set to debut locally sometime in November, though an exact date has yet to be determined. Nevertheless, both its unveiling and arrival is sooner than expected, as the brand had only launched the phone’s predecessor, the realme GT 6 Pro, for the local market just earlier this year.
“As the first 8 Elite flagship debuted in the Malaysian market, the realme GT 7 Pro is set to showcase top-tier performance in the Android flagship category,” realme Malaysia’s press release reads. “With an Antutu benchmark score surpassing 3 million, this new device isn’t just about raw power, it represents a seamless fusion of speed, efficiency, and intelligent AI integration.”
Specifications and design of the realme GT 7 Pro are still kept under wraps at this time, but the brand’s president Xu Qi Chase previously hinted that a new periscope camera will be among one of its key features. The phone is also confirmed launching in China first later this month.
