Apple seems to be on a roll lately with price cuts, making some of their devices like the iPad more affordable in several markets, including Malaysia. Firstly, the iPhone 16 launched with the lowest starting price since the iPhone 13, then last week, the tech giant quietly reduced the price tags of its iPad Pro and Air.
The company has, once again, reduced the price of its 10th Gen iPad, which is the second price adjustment for the tablet this year. It cut down the starting price from RM2,099 to RM1,799 back in July, and just a few months later, the device now costs only RM1,499 for the base 64GB trim.
Meanwhile, upgrading the storage to 256GB will set you back RM2,199, which is a big gap, but it still went down by RM350 compared to its previous listing. If you want cellular connectivity, the 64GB now starts from RM2,199, while the 256GB version retails at RM2,899.
While its other configurations just missed the mark, the base trim Wi-Fi 10th Gen iPad now sports the same price tag as the 9th Gen model from 2021. Even then, the highest-end configuration currently only costs RM110 more than its predecessor, which makes sense as the tablet is already two years old and Apple is not expected to refresh the vanilla lineup until next spring.
