Amazfit has launched its latest earbuds, the Amazfit Up. Unlike traditional earbuds, they feature an open-ear, clip-on design that leaves the ear canal open, allowing for awareness of surroundings.
The Amazfit Up comes in black with a textured surface and includes a physical button for controlling playback, calls, and voice assistants. Weighing 5 grams each, the earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.
The company claims that the buds rely on an AI algorithm to reduce background noise during calls, improving clarity in loud environments. When paired with Amazfit smartwatches, users receive real-time workout updates and turn-by-turn navigation.
In terms of battery life, Amazfit says the Up is capable of lasting up to 6 hours on a single charge, with an additional 18 hours provided by the charging case, which takes 2 hours to fully charge via USB-C. The buds also support Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth Multipoint, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously.
The Amazfit Up earbuds are available in Malaysia now, priced at RM159. Those interested can purchase them via the brand’s official online stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorised dealers nationwide.
