Google launched the Pixel 9 family of phones in Malaysia back in August, but notably missing from the lineup was the Pro model. Now, the phone has landed on our shores, and are available via authorised resellers. That being said, not all available configurations are available, at least at the time of writing.
For instance, the on both the official store on Shopee and Lazada, only the 256GB and 512GB storage options of the Google Pixel 9 Pro are listed. These are priced at RM5,699 and RM6,299 respectively. Another authorised reseller, Urban Republic, has the 128GB storage option listed, for a price of RM5,199, as well as the other three options. Notably, all three options are listed with a RM900 rebate voucher, and it’s not immediately clear until when these will be around.
Notably, none of these storefronts have listed the 1TB option that is shown on the Google Pixel 9 Pro spec sheet. The other three authorised resellers – Senheng, CelcomDigi and Maxis, has yet to list the model itself, at least at the time of writing.
If you need a refresher, the Google Pixel 9 Pro shares mostly the same specs as its XL counterpart. The only notable difference between the two besides their size and their corresponding screen measurements are their batteries. The Pixel 9 Pro has a 6.3-inch 1280 x 2856 Super Actua OLED screen, with a battery capacity of 4,700 mAh.
