The Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition, launched early last year, was the brand’s new lightest mouse, with a roll cage-esque design. It was also arguably the single most outrageously priced peripheral the brand makes. But now, the company has outdid itself with the introduction of a white version of the same mouse.
Beyond the new coat of paint though, it doesn’t look like this white coloured Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition sports any other changes to the original one in black. It weighs the same as it did before, bucking the trend of white paint being literally heavier, though this may simply be due to insufficient surface area for it to make a difference.
It’s mostly the same specs-wise too. The white Viper Mini Signature Edition sports the same 30K optical sensor and optical switches. That being said, the HyperPolling tech now goes up to 8kHz polling rate, from he 4kHz of the original.
The company also notes that the white Viper Mini Signature Edition happens to be a limited edition thing too. There are only 13,337 units around, and each is being priced, locally at least, at RM1,449. Availability starts on 21 October at 8AM in the US, or 11PM local time.
