The iPad Pro with the M4 chip, as well as the iPad Air with M2, were announced back in May of this year. Now, it looks like Apple is giving these tablets price adjustments across the board, making them more affordable than before.
Shortly after their launch, the M2 iPad Air got a starting price tag of RM2,999 for the smaller 11-inch model, with the larger 13-inch version starting at RM3,999. The former has been adjusted down to start from RM2,599, while the latter now starts from RM3,499.
It’s a similar story with the M4 iPad Pro models that were launched in the same event. Back then, the 11-inch model had a starting price of RM5,299, but it has since been brought down to RM4,499. The 13-inch model started from RM6,799, but now you can get one from RM5,899 onwards. Also worth mentioning is the Apple Pencil Pro, which now has a RM549 price tag, RM50 lower than when it first launched.
To be clear though, Apple has periodically adjusted its prices for products being sold in markets outside of its home, and in both directions. But it perhaps is not as common for it to happen as soon as this, half a year after their launch. But at any rate, if you’ve been meaning to pick any of these up but have not for whatever reason, now may be a good time to do so.
