Last month, we saw the launch of the Redmagic Nova gaming tablet for the international market. Today, the brand has announced its local launch, with to available configurations. But perhaps more importantly, the company has also announced the Titan 16 Pro gaming laptop.
As the name suggests, the Redmagic Titan 16 Pro comes with a 16-inch screen with a WQXGA resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, G-Sync support and 500 nits of peak brightness. Inside, it comes with an Intel Core i9-14900H processor, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Powering it is a 80Wh battery, but the charging rate is oddly at 100W, which is pretty middling for a gaming laptop.
Of course, as is usually the case with the brand, the Redmagic Titan 16 Pro has its cooling system highlighted, as it features a “liquid metal cooling system” that consists of three vents, seven heat pipes. The pair of fans run at 4,500 RPM, displacing 13.8 CFM of air. The body of the laptop comes in metal, with a glass touchpad and mostly red lighting rather than the usual RGB.
Also making an appearance is the Redmagic Cyber Gamepad. While it unfortunately uses the Xbox layout of asymmetrical sticks, it boasts a 1,000 Hz polling rate, mechanical micro-switch buttons, and a pair of rear paddles. Connectivity include the usual options of USB, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless. It also has a charging stand with four magnetic pins for wireless charging.
As for the Redmagic Nova, this should be the most familiar one of the lot, even if there are some downgrades on the way to our shores. But if you need a refresher, this has a 10.9-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and an odd 840 Hz touch sampling rate. Inside, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 3 Leading Edition, and a 10,100 mAh battery. For whatever reason, the charging rate has taken a hit, as it is now rated at 80W.
The Redmagic Titan 16 Pro, Nova and Cyber Gamepad will all be available starting 8PM of 24 October. The laptop is priced at RM8,999, the tablet with the 12GB + 256GB config at RM3,199 and the 16GB + 512GB model costing 3,999. Finally, the controller costs RM499. Get them before 13 November, and the laptop gets a RM1,000 discount, while the tablet and controller get RM500 and RM100 off, respectively.
