AMD officially launched its Ryzen AI Pro 300 Series laptop CPUs today, officially bringing its latest AI-driven mobile processors to the enterprise market segment.
Like its non-Pro Ryzen AI counterparts, the new Pro 300 Series of mobile CPUs are based on the Zen5 architecture, featuring RDNA3.5 graphics cores, the same XDNA2 NPU with a peak performance of 50 TOPS, but more importantly, it comes loaded with the red chipmaker’s Pro technologies that includes a multi-layered security approach.
In total, the Ryzen AI Pro 300 Series will feature three SKUs: the Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360, AI 9 HX Pro 370, and 9 HX Pro 375. Both the 370 and 375 are similar in specs, the with the latter just having a more powerful XDNA2 NPU at 55 TOPS.
Again, security is a key element to the Ryzen AI Pro 300 Series. To that end, the new features for the mobile CPUs include a Cloud Bare Metal Recovery (cBMR), Security Chain Security, and a Watch Dog Timer.
AMD did not provide a specific date for the launch of the Ryzen AI Pro 300 Series CPU but did say that laptops powered by the CPU will be making their way into the market throughout 2025.
