Infinix has officially started teasing the Hot 50 Pro Plus in some markets, announcing its imminent launch. Based on the teasers, the upcoming phone is slated to be the brand’s thinnest phone yet, and will likely cost more than the vanilla Hot 50.
The Hot 50 Pro Plus will sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection — it seems that unlike its non-Pro variants, the screen will feature curved edges. It claims to have a width of only 6.8mm, which would put it as the second-slimmest non-foldable smartphone after the HONOR 200 Lite‘s 6.78mm measurement.
Under the hood, the affordable device will run on a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Not much else is known about the upcoming smartphone, but it seems it will be limited to 4G LTE.
According to rumours, the smartphone will be making its debut in India and the Philippines soon. As of now, it is unclear if or when the Pro Plus model will be released in Malaysia.
