Air Selangor has announced emergency repair works to address a broken pipe at the Pasar Seni Hub, leading to unscheduled water supply disruptions in parts of the Kuala Lumpur region. The disruption began from 6:00am today on 8 October 2024, and is expected to be completed by 1:00am tomorrow on 9 October 2024, after which water supply will be restored in stages as the system stabilises.
The company adds that water supply will be restored in stages as the system stabilises, and is expected to be fully completed at all affected areas by 1:00 pm tomorrow. However, the time frame for restoration may vary depending on the location of users’ premises and water pressure in the distribution system, therefore some areas may experience a longer wait before full service is resumed.
