Less than a month of the local release of the 13 Pro series, realme has announced a launch date for the realme 13 5G lineup. Introduced in India back in August, the series comprises of two models that differ in screens, processors, and charging speeds. The smartphones are set to debut here on 17 October 2024.
First up is the realme 13, which sports a 6.72-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a global peak brightness of 580 nits. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. Additionally, both phones come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and ship with realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
As for the 13 Plus, it is fitted with a smaller 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a higher global peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, it features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip paired with a 5,000mAh cell and a charging speed of 80W.
Imaging-wise, the two mid-range phones are equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie shooter. On the connectivity side, the realme 13 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3, while the 13 Plus gets 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
