Tecno quietly released the Spark 30 4G last month, but it seems a 5G version will be making its way to Malaysia soon. The 5G variant, which has yet to be unveiled, has received approval from SIRIM, meaning that it is very likely that the phone will be arriving here in the near future.
The Spark 30 5G was listed just today with the model number KL8, with the Pro and 4G models still missing. Its predecessor, the Spark 20, was released here last December with a price tag of RM499, so we can expect the upcoming phone to be sold at a similar price point.
While not much is known about the device yet, FCC listings have revealed its design and a few key specs. Aside from the addition of 5G support, the Spark 30 5G will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with support for 18W charging.
For reference, the 4G variant sports a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G91 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It also features a 64MP main camera and a 13MP selfie shooter.
