HONOR is preparing to launch two new devices in Malaysia, namely the 200 Smart as well as the Pad X8a tablet. The former’s price has already been revealed by multiple local retailers and now the latter has gotten the same treatment ahead of any official announcement.
According to one retailer, as well as the brand’s MyTown experience store, the Pad X8a will retail at RM799. It will be offered in a grey colour along with a single ram and storage configuration. It is unknown when exactly it will start shipping out, but we can expect it to be released here very soon.
The tablet sports an 11-inch 1920×1200 LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 400 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, it runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and it seems to have no fingerprint sensor.
For video calls, the Pad X8a is equipped with a 5MP camera on both the front and back of the device, along with quad-stereo speakers. It is powered by an 8,300mAh battery that supports 10W charging. On the connectivity side, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 5.
