Garmin has announced its latest smartwatch, the Lily 2 Active, the third variant of the line-up that was first introduced earlier this year. It stands out as the company’s smallest model to feature built-in GPS, and offers the longest battery life compared to the other models under the same series.
The Garmin Lily Active boasts a sleek anodized aluminium build with two side buttons, a 1-inch circular colour display with 240 x 201 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, as well as matching silicone straps. It is available in two elegant colour schemes: Lunar Gold and Bone, or Silver and Purple Jasmine.
The smartwatch offers sleep tracking, which monitors heart rate, sleep stages, stress, and respiration to provide a detailed sleep score. Additionally, its Body Battery monitoring feature helps users gauge their energy levels, making it easier to manage daily activity and rest cycles. Workout options available on the Lily 2 Active supports downloadable routines for strength training, yoga, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
One highlighted feature offered by the Lily 2 Active is the morning report, which compiles a summary of key information from the previous day. This includes sleep data and energy levels, as well as a dedicated women’s health tracking feature for monitoring menstrual cycles and pregnancies.
The Active variant offers a battery life of up to nine days of use when GPS is off and nine hours in GPS mode. Needless to say, it also pairs seamlessly with the Garmin Connect app that’s available on both iOS and Android.
In the US, the new Garmin Lily 2 Active is priced at US$300 (~RM1,261). There’s no word on whether the wearable will be made available in Malaysia at this time.
