The Razer Basilisk V3 was first introduced back in 2021, with the Pro model coming a year later. Now, both are getting a sensor upgrade, and the new names – the Razer Basilisk V3 35K and Basilisk V3 Pro 35K – clearly indicate what the new sensors do compared to the old. For added context, the base model Basilisk V3 has a 26K DPI sensor equipped, while the Pro had a 30K DPI sensor instead.
Beyond just a sensor update, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K also gets a battery life boost as well. Previously rated for 90 hours when used wirelessly via the brand’s HyperSpeed tech, the new model has this bumped up to 140 hours. This can be extended to 210 hours on Bluetooth, though latency may become an issue while gaming this way.
As for the base model Basilisk V3 35K, it now gets feature parity with the Pro model, minus the wireless part. Which means that it also gets things like Smart Tracking, Motion Sync and Asymmetric Cut-off that were previously exclusive to the Pro model.
The Razer Basilisk V3 35K and Basilisk V3 Pro 35K come in the standard black, as well as a white colourway, as is seemingly the new trend since the Viper V2 Pro. Available immediately via retailers, the brand tells us that these mice are priced at RM369 and RM719 respectively. Oddly enough, the latter has a different price tag attached to it on its official site, while the former doesn’t even get a buy page, at least at the time of writing.
