G.Skill recently announced the availablity of its latest DDR5 memory kit. The new kit, which feature non-binary, dual-channel memory, is a DDR5-9000 kit with 48GB, split between two 24GB sticks.
Specifically, the new DDR5-9000 is designed to cater for AMD’s Ryzen 9000 Series memory, as well as its Ryzen 7 8700G. The latter makes sense, given that memory with higher frequencies or clockspeeds would benefit the integrated RDNA3 GPU cores. The DDR5-9000 have CL timings of CL44-56-56. The memory maker confirmed this via an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard.
Continuing to explore the overclock limits of DDR5 memory speed in conjunction with the new ASUS NitroPath DRAM technology that provides enhanced DDR5 memory overclock performance, G.SKILL demonstrates an amazing DDR5-9000 CL44-56-56 with two 24GB capacity modules. Refer to the screenshot below to see this G.SKILL memory kit reaching the astounding overclocked memory speed on the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G processor.
At the time of writing, the company did not specify local pricing or availability for its new DDR5-9000 memory. Given the memory capacity and its performance, though, it won’t be cheap. On that note, the memory will be available in the form of the brand’s Trident Z5 Royal Neo lineup, and in both gold and silver colourways.
