As part of the RazerCon reveals which saw the veil lifted off the Freyja and a fancy laptop cooler, the peripheral brand also revealed a headset. This comes in the form of the Razer Kraken V4 Pro, completing the lineup that was initially launched in August.
It may sound like a weird feature to highlight, but the Razer Kraken V4 Pro supports four connectivity modes. This includes the brand’s HyperSpeed Wireless tech, Bluetooth, USB and good old 3.5mm audio cable. The company also says that it can take audio from the 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connections simultaneously, but not the wired options.
Surprisingly, the Kraken V4 Pro also comes with some degree of the Sensa HD Haptics featured in the Freyja, though naturally not to the same extent. And to further drive the Pro moniker home, it gets its own physical OLED Control Hub, even when RGB lighting can already be configured via the Synapse software
Beyond that, you’ll find most of the features that are on the Kraken V4 Pro are similar to the base model. Which means 40mm drivers with THX audio, the retractable mic with HyperClear Super Wideband, and Chroma lighting.
The Kraken V4 Pro comes with a price tag of US$399.99 (~RM1,649), though at the moment there’s no word on local pricing and availability. Though the brand did say that more info will be provided at a later date, without narrowing it down.
