Along with the release of Razer’s first ever Haptics Gaming Cushion, the company also unveiled the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad. It’s a cooling panel that features smart fan control, an airtight pressure chamber, and three magnetic frames for laptop stability.
Internally, the main cooling element is a powerful 140mm fan that reaches rotation speeds of up to 25,500 RPM. The fan circulates cool air trapped within the airtight seals that channel throughout the cooling system. According to the manufacturer, the new pad reduces the temperature of the processor and graphics card by 18%. The panel is powered via a rear-mounted connectors, and three USB Type A 2.0 ports allow you to connect wireless adapters and other peripherals.
Users can adjust the fan speed and its RGB lighting through the Razer Synapse app, choosing from Quiet, Balanced, or High modes. Brackets and interchangeable bezels are provided to adapt to different laptops, preferably 14-inch to 18-inch models. If you want to ensure long term usage, you can use an onboard dust filter to reduce foreign contaminants as the fan can collect dust over time.
The cooling panel will be available through the official website, RazerStores, and authorised resellers during the fourth quarter of the year. The price for it starts at US$149.99 (~RM617) but is also now starting at NZ$249.95 (~RM654) within the South East Asia region. At the time of writing, we do not have local availability or pricing.
