The product page for the Mix Flip is already live on Xiaomi Malaysia’s official Shopee store. This confirms that the brand’s first compact foldable smartphone, which launched globally last night, will indeed debut in the local market later today.
According to the page, we’ll be receiving the 12GB + 512GB configuration, which means the 12GB + 256GB and the top-specced 16GB + 1TB options are only exclusive to China. It also appears that the local Mix Flip release is only offered in Purple and the Black, though the latter cannot be selected just yet. Interestingly, the White colourway is currently missing from this list.
Since the phone isn’t launched yet, it is still listed with the RM9,999 placeholder price tag on Xiaomi’s page, but rest assured that this won’t be its actual retail value. While you can’t place your order just yet, you can add it to your Shopee cart to help you preemptively purchase it for later today.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14T, which headlines the local launch later today, is already available for pre-order for a while now via Xiaomi’s official Shopee store. This particular model is the latest entry to the brand’s current-gen flagship line-up, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, as well as a triple camera setup consisting a 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto with 2.6x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide, just to name a few.
