We hope you’re not done with action cameras just yet, because it appears that another one is expected to be unveiled soon. This time around, seemingly gearing up to launch a new device of this category is Insta360, at least according to the series of leaks recently shared on X by tech insider Igor Bogdanov (aka Quadro_News).
As per said leaks, the product in question is revealed to be the Ace Pro 2, the successor to the high-end variant of the brand’s action camera line-up that was launched last year. The images depict the newer device sporting a mostly similar design to its predecessor, complete with a front-facing vertical screen and a rear LCD display that can be flipped up. An included spec sheet suggests that the camera is also water and shock resistant, capable of withstanding depths of 33 feet for the former and drops as far as five feet for the latter.

Powering it is a dual AI chip system, which handles image processing, camera performance, system operations and firmware functions. The leakster adds that the system also enables for improved low-light performance and Active HDR video recordings at up to 4K60p.
Other than that, it is suggested that the Ace Pro 2 is microSD compatible, has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and supports swappable batteries. Regarding the latter, Bogdanov did not say how long the camera is able to last on a full charge.
