Huawei has now officially brought over the MatePad Pro 12.2, its high-end tablet that was introduced in China last month. It comes with a large, bright display that uses tandem OLED technology as well as a PaperMatte texture for an anti-glare finish.
The MatePad Pro 12.2 is fitted with a 12.2-inch 2800×1840 OLED display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a peak global brightness of 1,000 nits, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for HDR content. Under the hood, the brand did not disclose the chipset being used, but it is speculated to be the Kirin 9000S, paired with GB of RAM and GB of internal storage.
For optics, the tablet contains a total of three cameras, with two in the back and one on the front. The rear setup consists of a 13MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front uses a 16MP shooter. Backing the large device is a 10,100mAh battery that supports 100W charging. Additionally, it sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and ships with HarmonyOS 4.2.
