Pre-orders for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection are now available locally. As detailed by Sony Malaysia yesterday, those interested can place their orders via the brand’s own web store, as well as through select authorised local retailers nationwide. However, at the time of writing, only M4G and Impulse Gaming have already listed all products, though the latter will require you to contact their regional branches directly for purchase.
To recap, the limited edition items from the 30th Anniversary Collection that’s confirmed available in Malaysia includes the PS5 Digital Edition bundle, DualSense Edge and standard DualSense controllers, as well as the PlayStation Portal Remote Player. Unfortunately, the PS5 Pro console and its bundle did not make the cut, and we’ve reached out to Sony to find out more about this.
As for pricing, based on M4G’s listing, the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle is priced at RM2,299, which is RM230 more than the retail version. Meanwhile, the 30th Anniversary editions of the DualSense Edge and DualSense controllers as well as the PlayStation Portal are priced at RM1,099, RM399 and RM1,099 respectively.
Needless to say, you may want to act fast, as all items mentioned are only offered at limited quantities. Apart from the PS5 Pro limited edition, which is only available at only 12,300 units worldwide, Sony did not detail how many units are offered for the other products.
