Marshall has announced the Monitor III ANC headphones, and compared to the Monitor II ANC, the new model is touted to have some enhanced features including a longer battery life as it offers up to 70 hours of playback time as well as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The headphones are lighter than its predecessor, weighing only 250 grams. It takes about two and a half hours to fully charge, and the upgraded ANC significantly blocks unwanted noise compared to its previous models. Additionally, if you turn off ANC, you can still continuously use the headphones for more than 100 hours.
The Monitor III ANC now includes Adaptive Loudness and automatically adjusts the sound based on your environment without sacrificing audio quality. Users can also customise its sound quality using the M-button as well as the Marshall Bluetooth app that’s available on both Android and iOS.
There’s also the M-button that allows you to switch between three EQ presets or activate voice assistants. The app includes dedicated settings for voice assistants and a feature called Spotify Tap, which lets you start a listening session with just a tap. It also includes built-in Bluetooth LE and Auracast support, allowing users to connect to nearby broadcasts.
The Monitor III ANC headphones are now available for US$350 (~RM1,443) on Marshall’s official website. At the time of writing, the headphones have not yet arrived in Malaysia.
