Infinix has officially announced the local launch date of the Zero Flip. The brand’s first foldable will be debuting in Malaysia on 1 October 2024, boasting a “zero-gap” hinge with minimal creasing.
While the phone has yet to be officially unveiled, aside from a few strategic teasers from the brand, most of its specs have already been leaked several times. For starters, the main display will boast a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen while the square 3.64-inch cover screen similarly uses a 120Hz AMOLED panel, along with Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection.
Under the hood, the mid-range foldable will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. For the optics, the flippable phone will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front shooter with autofocus. Powering it will be a 4,720mAh battery that supports 70W charging.
The pricing of the phone has already been revealed by several local retailers ahead of the launch, listing it at RM2,999, although it is unclear whether this is the retail price or a promotional launch price. It will be available in two colour options, namely black and pink.
