It’s still months away, but leaks of Samsung’s next high-end flagship smartphone, the S25 Ultra, have continued to surface online. This time around are benchmark scores that allegedly belong to the device, which was first discovered on the web version of Geekbench by X (formerly Twitter) user Tarun Vats.
Results show a significant boost in single- and multi-core performance, at about 30% higher when compared to the current model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The same Geekbench listing also revealed the Galaxy S25 Ultra (using the designation SM-S938U) is using a quad-core Qualcomm chip which comprises two cores clocked at 4.19Ghz and six at 2.9GHz.

While it is not known which SoC is featured on the high-end model, rumour has it that it could be the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, seeing that both Samsung and Qualcomm are still collaborating, we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that this is a “For Galaxy” version that’s tweaked exclusively for the former’s flagship devices.
We can’t say for sure whether the device listed is actually the Galaxy S25 Ultra, so it’s best to take the information provided with some scepticism. Given that Samsung only announces its next-gen flagships during the first quarter of every year, it’ll still take a long while until we get to find out.
