Grab has launched a new feature called GrabShop, which aims at allowing anyone to start their own online small business. First introduced in Indonesia back in June, the feature lets any user of the app can make an online catalogue of items they want to sell, allowing you to easily share your offerings with customers.
Using GrabShop is commission-free. To build the catalogue, you only need to include the name and picture of your items, as well as the prices. Once you are done, you can then share the link to customers or on social media as anyone will be able to access the catalogue.
Customers can place an order directly from your GrabShop catalogue and you will then be notified. You can even create a custom order for customers which they can then review. Sellers have the option of having orders delivered via GrabExpress or through any preferred logistics providers.
To make things more seamless, the app also allows sellers to make a delivery form for customers to quickly fill out and you can even add on a delivery fee to your catalogue. Additionally, the platform can help you keep track of your completed and pending orders. Grab has informed us that the updated GrabExpress page with GrabShop will only appear for active GrabExpress users.
