While Intel scrambles to get the launch of its desktop Arrow Lake-S to working order, a leakster is already sharing rumours about an architecture that has yet to launch, Razer Lake-S. That chipset, by the way, is what is expected to launch after Nova Lake-S, which itself is only expected after two iterations of the upcoming desktop CPUs lineup.
Rumours of Razer Lake-S first made their way online via prominent leakster HXL (@9550pro) via X. They basically name dropped the alleged next-gen Intel desktop architecture, although it does lack any sort of authenticity from reliable sources. Furthermore, they suggest that the architecture will also introduce a new LGA chipset, and will not reuse the socket LGA1851 that will be introduced with Arrow Lake-S and its alleged Refresh.

The information is, again, questionable at best. However, if we are to take it with the usual grain of salt, it does then give us some insight into Intel’s plan post-Arrow Lake-S. As it stands, the chipmaker hasn’t made any formal announcements on its next-generation desktop CPU architecture, but it did just launch its Lunar Lake mobile CPU architecture earlier this month.
