Alongside the 13 Pro series, realme has officially launched the Watch S2, its latest smartwatch. As we’ve previously reported, the smartwatch is offered with two watch band options with a RM100 difference between the materials.
The Watch S2 sports a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 600 nits and is fitted inside a stainless steel chassis. For durability, the brand claims that the watch can function in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C, along with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of software features, it has an AI watch face generator, but the Malaysian version seems to lack the GPT 3.5-powered AI assistant.
Regarding battery life, the smartwatch can apparently last up to 20 days with regular usage, while putting it on standby mode will apparently extend the battery life to 38 days. Of course, it comes with a laundry list of sensors to monitor your heart rate, blood-oxygen saturation levels, and sleep quality. The watch can even track over 100 different types of workouts, but unfortunately, it does not have built-in GPS.
The Watch S2 starts from RM499 for the silicone strap while the limited edition model with a metal strap costs RM599. It can be purchased through the brand’s Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok stores.
